We currently have three Mini Hereford cows and one bull here at Nicholson Farms. They graze alongside our sheep and follow the same rotational grazing routines. Our bull runs with the cows year-round, allowing calves to be born naturally on pasture.

From birth, our mini calves are bottle-raised, which helps create a strong bond with people and makes them easier to handle and begin training. Because of this hands-on start, they make excellent pets, 4-H projects, lawn “mowers,” or companions for anyone looking to add a gentle and unique animal to their farm or homestead.

Kids absolutely love our mini cows, and they provide a wonderful opportunity to teach responsibility while offering a truly rewarding experience for the whole family.
